DJ Evans

 

DJ Evans is developing a practice focused on commercial real estate transactions, where he assists clients with acquisitions, dispositions, financing matters, due diligence, and commercial leasing. As he transitions his practice into the commercial real estate sector, DJ is committed to helping developers, investors, lenders, landlords, and tenants navigate transactions efficiently and achieve their business objectives.

Prior to focusing on commercial real estate, D.J. gained valuable experience in litigation and dispute resolution, representing institutional clients in matters involving healthcare organizations, businesses, and governmental entities. This background provides him with a practical perspective on risk assessment and contract negotiation, allowing him to identify potential issues early and help clients structure transactions to avoid future disputes.

DJ earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the Holderness Moot Court Team and competed in the Sports Law Negotiation Competition. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Appalachian State University.

Having lived throughout the United States, DJ has called North Carolina home since 2018. Outside of work, he enjoys attending Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets games and spending time with friends and family.
